Linoln Park DDA/EDC Director Gib Turner  The 4th annual Shop lincoln Park was a huge success. ON July 26th 45 Business and Community Organizations set up shop in the trade show style expo. Open to the public from Noon to 6PM there was a steady flow of people learning of all the fine businesses Lincoln Park has to offer. As always this was a free event for the family.  Once again Lincoln Park shines as the Shopping Hub of Downriver.

Many exibitors held free drawings for great prizes. They included a GE Microwave, a Schwinn Bicycle, Gas Cards, Collectable Die Cast Cars, and many other items and free services. Several Free items were offered as gifts for those who attended  There was a DJ providing entertainment and anouncements, and a professional face painter. Also for the children the CPW and the Girl  Scouts offered crafts for the children.  There were demostrations by the Lincoln Park Dance Company, Clash Wrestling, and Soo Bahk Do Karate.

Many thanks to those who attended, partipitaded, and helped in the organization of this fine event. We look forward to your business being there next year. For more info or questions please email shoplincolnpark@lpchamber.org.

The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerse holds a Annual Golf Outing in September at Riverview Highlands Golf Course in Riverview, MI. The outing includes a round of golf, cart, lunch at the turn, and dinner. There were also many free gifts awarded to the golfers. Next year start your own foursome and take a shot at a hole in one, you could drive home in a new Buick.  All profits on the Gulf Outing support the fine work of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce.

Fantasyland has been enjoyed for 45 years by all ages. Visit Santa and enjoy the beautiful lights and animated characters. Fantasyland is full of nostalgia and is a beautiful holiday tradition for all of Downriver families.  The Holiday displays have been updated and even Santa is pleased with what he saw.

Santa will be in his special room during open hours and admission includes a vist with him.  On the spot digital photos are opitional, so bring in the whole family. Santa enjoys posing in three generation photos and he tells me no child is too young, or old, to sit on his lap.

Santa is looking for a few Elf volunteers between the ages of 12 and 18, boys or girls. If intrested in helping please call Debbie at 734-560-1121.

The Lincoln Park Train Club is located at Fantasyland in Kennedy Memorial Building (Bandshell). You won’t want to miss this wonderful miniature railroad display. For Tours of Train Club Display call 734-624-1462.
